RELAXATION BREATHING. Learn basic breathing exercises and techniques that will introduce you to the power of your breath to improve your mental and physical health. A regular practice of breathing exercises can reduce anxiety, high blood pressure, depression, PTSD and chronic pain. Everyone will benefit from breathing better, whether you are a super athlete hoping to improve your recovery time or you are chronically ill and living with pain. Your breathing habits matter and Rebecca will help you create new habits that will help you live a healthier and happier life.
ACTIVATION BREATHING. When you need a boost, you can also use your breath to recharge the body, clear the mind, and activate the energy within. In this session, scientist and wellness teacher Dr Rebecca Chabot will lead participants through several dynamic breathing exercises that will build to holotropic breathing, to boost the energy flow in the body and brain, leading to increased alertness and clarity. Activation breathing techniques are thought to facilitate mental and physical healing, improve self-awareness, and increase one’s positive outlook on life. Immediately following the one-hour workshop, participants will have the opportunity to revitalise with a cold water plunge in the beautiful waters of Blackmans Bay Beach.
Individual or group sessions available for booking. No experience necessary.
PLEASE NOTE: Activation breathing is not recommended for those with high anxiety or a history of panic attacks. If you have pre-existing medical conditions, please seek medical approval before booking.
