The Retreat:

Our Pure Wellness Bruny Island Retreat is the wilderness getaway you need.

The retreat is held at a designer beach house overlooking Cloudy Bay Lagoon and starts at 5 pm on Friday with a gourmet dinner prepared by our nationally renowned, now-Tasmanian chef, Jess Muir (if you arrive later, we will keep dinner warm for you) and a welcome discussion . We end the evening with a meditation (no experience required). Saturday morning after breakfast we have a good warming yoga practice with another guided meditation and then a delicious gourmet lunch that will nourish you without making you feel sluggish. Lunch is followed by free time where you might go for a beach walk, take an invigorating dip in the water or relax with a book by the fire. In the afternoon we have a relaxation (Yin) yoga class before breaking for a well-deserved, 5 star dinner. After dinner we have some stimulating discussions around mindfulness and personal growth.

Sunday morning begins with meditation and an invigorating yoga flow to get the body moving. We break for one last gourmet meal, a hot brunch, and then depart at 10 am. Rooms are queen share and very comfortable and warm. All of the yoga and meditation are beginner friendly and completely optional.
